The Details
The Requirement
Gelidus were contacted by established local architects ‘The Keen Partnership’ to plan and execute the installation of independent Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems into the 26 stylish new apartments they were developing in the heart of Reading.
Each department required a bespoke design system based on the use of efficient and compact ECO2 MVHR units from Nuaire to meet the ventilation requirements of Building Regulation Part F.
The Solution
A survey visit was carried out to establish how best to meet the ventilation requirements for the new apartments. The design team set to work on a proposal that would provide luxurious comfort for the best value.
The installations were carried out by our BPEC trained and certified ventilation engineers and, as the development neared completion, each system was carefully commissioned to provide each apartment with quiet, controllable and energy-efficient ventilation.
Chris Keen of the Keen Partnership congratulated Gelidus on a successful outcome and we look forward to working on similar projects with them soon.
